Genshin Impact: The Geo Archon's Secret Love Affairs

[Beloved by All + Zhongli in Every Pairing]

(I only read Zhongli as the bottom. Since this starts from the past, I’ve made up a lot of the plot myself. There’ll be all sorts of pairings along the way, including female tops, and the ending may have no official pairing, or could be read as Zhongli with anyone. There will also be bonus stories featuring various couples. I’m not a lore expert, so I haven’t researched every detail thoroughly. OOC warning.)

Can a god ever fall in love with someone?

Probably not, right?

Over more than six thousand years, countless people had stayed by his side, and countless others had fallen for him. Yet he seemed never to have been moved by anyone.

His stone-like eyes swept over the people of the world, casting a compassionate gaze upon them.

The gods cherished humanity, so he descended into the mortal realm and kept people company.

The world's splendor dazzled him, and he could not tell affection from love. But there was always someone by his side, gazing at him through the eyes he had given them, accompanying him through countless years. Even after the friends of old had departed, this one still remained.

A thousand years of time, a thousand years of companionship.

He thought they would always be there.

They left.

Just like all the friends before them, they were gone.

The god did not understand why he was crying, when he had already experienced parting so many times.

But time always moves forward. His steps would not stop for anyone, for the fate he bore had never been his alone.

He would keep moving forward, meet more people, and part with more of them, but he would not stop for their sake.

Then, suddenly, something came back to him, and he stopped in his tracks.

Looking back over the road he had traveled, he finally realized just how much he had missed.
