SNH48: A Tale of Words

"The Words of SNH48" is a very immersive idol-themed novel. It takes Lin Zhiyao's return as the main line and depicts the daily life of the SNH48 team in a real and warm way. It's so addictive to read! The characterization of the protagonist Lin Zhiyao is particularly outstanding. After returning from a four-year break, she has transformed from the little idol she used to be to a cool and noble person, but she still hides her naughty nature - her cleverness to tease her friends, her tenacity during training, her embarrassment when she died in a performance club. Her multi-faceted personality makes the character three-dimensional and lovable, without any sense of flatness, and the rhythm of the plot is relaxed. There are degrees of tenderness, tender farewells and reunions, relaxed and funny team interactions, and passionate stage training intertwined with each other. Famous scenes such as the central chase and the death of the MC club are so full of visuals that you can't help but laugh out loud while watching it. Lin Zhiyao's grief due to the death of his grandmother and the exhaustion of hard training after returning to China add to the pyrotechnics of the character, making it easy for people to empathize. The most exciting thing is the overflowing group spirit. The sincere friendship behind the fight between Yang Bingyi and Lin Zhiyao, the respect of the juniors for the seniors, and the mutual care between teammates, fully demonstrate the warmth of the idol group. The author's setting of each SNH48 team is realistic, and the details of the stage performances and daily life in the practice room are very well described. It makes people feel like they are in it, watching Lin Zhiyao's return and growth step by step. Every plot is full of expectations, and the more you read, the more you get excited!
