Cardcaptor Sakura: I’m Sakura’s Older Sister

“I hope my arrival will let Mom Nadeshiko see Sakura grow up and live a happy life.”

That was what Meng Xi thought after she first came to live with this family. So she stopped Nadeshiko from trying to help with the household expenses. After starting elementary school, she became a model alongside Nadeshiko so she could stay by her side, using the magic she had, though weaker than in her previous life, to help improve her health.

“I don’t want Sakura to be unable to be born because of me, so I’ll do everything I can to take care of Mom Nadeshiko.”

In the end, things went as she hoped. Nadeshiko was healthy before giving birth to Sakura. Although her health worsened afterward and she was often hospitalized, she was still doing fairly well thanks to the magical treatments.

Sakura, I hope you can grow up happily, with healthy parents and your older siblings by your side.

(Nadeshiko surviving is my own setting! Mwah!)
