The Fox Spirit Was Targeted After Taking Human Form

[Two male leads + xianxia + past and present lives + sweet romance + tsundere gong, innocent shou + both inexperienced in love + equally powerful + shou’s perspective]

An innocent little fox, new to the human world and clueless about its ways, meets a cold sword cultivator who cares for nothing but cultivation.

Xu Zhiye was a fox. After decades of hard cultivation, he had finally learned to take human form. To fit in better with human society, he decided to join a sect as an apprentice.

After asking around, he decided to head for the cultivation academy everyone aspired to join: the Hehuan Sect. He’d never heard of it before, but the name sounded impressive.

That was what Xu Zhiye thought. But on the way to the Hehuan Sect, bandits kidnapped him. Luckily, an expert came to his rescue, claiming to be from the Zhuxie Sword Sect. After witnessing the man’s abilities, Xu Zhiye changed his mind. He would go to the Zhuxie Sword Sect instead.

But things seemed to be going a little strangely. Why did the disciple of his master’s rival come bother him every single day?

Had he done something to offend him? Xu Zhiye couldn’t understand, though later he might have figured out why.

Qi Yang didn’t know why, but whenever he saw the little fox interacting with another man, he felt furious. Whenever that happened, he would pick a fight with the little fox. He wasn’t good with words, so this was the only way he knew to express his displeasure.

The little fox seemed familiar to him, but he couldn’t say why. It was as if they had met a long time ago.

His personality was the complete opposite of his name. Though his name was Qi Yang and his courtesy name was Jinghui, he was an extremely aloof person, leaving Xu Zhiye utterly baffled.
