The Villains of the Three Realms Are a Disappointing Bunch

The Celestial Realm acts aloof and pure on the surface, but secretly siphons incense offerings and merit from the mortal world. The Demon Realm is even worse. It throws its weight around, leading the charge in bullying everyone: today it demands young men and women as the final installment, tomorrow it wants city land for development, and it keeps sneaking blood-sacrifice clauses into contracts.

Yang Xiaohuo, the mortal world's designated punching bag, has this to say: “You think you're so high and mighty! So impressive! You keep fleecing my people!”

Until one day, he finally snaps, flips the table, and roars:

“Stop competing with each other! I'm merging the Three Realms into one world, and from now on, every god, immortal, demon, and monster is paying into social insurance and housing funds!”
