The blood moon rises, zombies roam, and the apocalypse begins.

Ye Tianyu, a supermarket worker, just wants to survive. But three dangerous people who “escaped” from a psychiatric hospital corner him by the shelves: Gu Feng, a chuunibyou fire-wielding man; Tangtang, a dual-wielding loli; and Su Wan, a cold and beautiful doctor. They insist he's the “Great Reborn One,” the savior of the apocalypse!

Ye Tianyu: “??? I'm really not!”

(Inner thoughts: I just want to eat my instant noodles in peace. I still haven't dealt with the expired canned food from my unscrupulous boss!)

And yet, he has to deal with:

“Great Reborn One, please lead us to survival!” (Gu Feng drops to one knee.)

“Candy makes the pain go away, you know~” (Tangtang says after knocking him out with a frying pan.)

“My notes say you're all-powerful... including having a thing for uniforms?” (Su Wan adjusts her glasses, her scalpel gleaming coldly.)

Then there's his bizarre save-file ability, which can rewind time by only 10 seconds and occasionally triggers “Causality Interference” (for example, letting him knock out a powerful foe with a brick)...

Ye Tianyu's lazy, easygoing life falls apart completely! Forced to play the role of a “reborn big shot” in an apocalypse besieged by zombies and surrounded by powerful enemies, he has no choice but to bluff his way through.

On one side, his mentally ill teammates worship him blindly and pull off godlike moves. On the other, Lin Ruoxue, the Ice Sovereign and a true reborn person, is hunting him down, while mob boss Zhang Scarface keeps trying to steal his expired canned food...

Ye Tianyu looks to the heavens and sighs: No! This is not the life I wanted!
