Han Jiangxue was born with blocked meridians. While working as a menial servant at an inn, he unexpectedly acquired an ancient bronze lamp, which brought a mysterious old man into his life. Using a secret technique, the old man forcibly opened Han Jiangxue's meridians and discovered that he possessed the hidden Nine-Turn Exquisite Meridian, which could only be activated with a special cultivation method. The third young master of the Murong family sent pursuers to seize the bronze lamp. While fleeing, Han Jiangxue used the lamp's power for the first time, triggering a celestial phenomenon.
Before his death, the old man revealed the truth behind the destruction of the Xuantian Sect. Han Jiangxue inherited the sect's legacy and obtained the introductory manual for the Nine-Turn Xuantian Art.
