Ao Lie, the third prince of the Dragon King of the West Sea, was imprisoned in Yingchoujian for setting fire to the luminous pearl gifted by the Jade Emperor. He later transformed into a white dragon horse and followed Monk Tang to the West to learn scriptures. Along the way, he struggled with the four masters and apprentices, struggling to move forward in the underwater crisis, the dilemma in the Flame Mountain, and other hardships. He was also harassed by inner demons and encountered fake bodies. However, with firm belief and the support of his partners, Ao Lie overcame many difficulties, and finally achieved success and was awarded the title of Eight-Part Heavenly Dragon Guangli Bodhisattva.
