[Dual heroines + age gap]
The next time Tao Yuxi saw Xu Yunshu, it was at the school’s welcome reception for new teachers. Xu Yunshu had taken the stage as the new-teacher representative. The young woman had shed her youthful awkwardness. Her professional suit made her look even more mature and composed, a far cry from the quiet girl in Tao Yuxi’s memories, yet all the more captivating for it.
After stepping down, the person she hadn’t seen in five years walked straight over and greeted her with a smile. “Teacher Tao, it’s been a long time. This time, we’re colleagues.”
Colleagues…
Tao Yuxi had a feeling Xu Yunshu meant more than she said. It wasn’t until years later, when she thought back on that moment, that she finally realized how carefully Xu Yunshu had planned it all.
When she asked Xu Yunshu to confirm, she got a definite answer:
“Yes, Teacher Tao. I’ve had a crush on you for a long time.”
At first I thought it was okay, but the more I read, the more I discovered that there were a lot of problems. The plot arrangement and timeline were often inconsistent or unreasonable. After the other two female protagonists confirmed their relationship, they still had many interactions with each other, as if they had not confessed their love, which is also puzzling. There is still a lot of room for improvement in the author's grasp of the story outline, his ability to maintain the consistency of the plot, and the clarity of the timeline when writing the book.
