Personally, I feel that this book is much better than The Coffin Bearer, with the same realism, the same local flavor, and immersive experience. However, Chen Sanyue's character is completely different from Chen Jiu. He is much more flexible, more decisive, flexible, and less rigid than Chen Jiu.
