Nezha, the Demon Child, Dragon King, and Leopard

[Ao Guang + Shen Gongbao (Dragon King and Leopard)]

[Two male leads + Ne Zha: Birth of the Demon Child fanfic + modern actors + behind the scenes on a film set + slow-burn romance]

Ao Bing insists on attending film school and falls out with his father, who cuts off his financial support. On the recommendation of his teacher, Shen Gongbao, he auditions and luckily lands the male second lead in Ne Zha: Birth of the Demon Child. But before he can enjoy the news for even a month, the investors go bankrupt.

Ao Guang, a doting father, wants to mend his relationship with his son. He provides the funding and staff to establish East Sea Media and buys the film rights, but he and his team are complete outsiders who know nothing about the filmmaking process.

They need an experienced consultant, so Ao Guang approaches Shen Gongbao only in his capacity as Ao Bing's father. They become friends, and Ao Guang takes his advice as they pull together the production of Ne Zha.

The actors are emotionally unstable, give erratic performances, and threaten to walk off the set. Stunt doubles are hard to find, the actual shoot fails to meet expectations, Wuliang deliberately sabotages the production, they are forced to pay protection money, and actors demand more scenes and diva treatment… Problems crop up one after another during filming.

A fanfic inspired by Ne Zha: Birth of the Demon Child and Ne Zha: Demon Child Conquers the Sea. In this setting, all the characters are actors in the films, working together to make a live-action movie. In the modern world, each has their own identity and life. The author has made up countless details, all purely imagined.
