Menacing Dusk

During the Qingming Festival in 1992, a woman in Yangquan was murdered while burning paper offerings. After Huang Pu received the report, he lost his ability to speak and developed a phobia. His family also suffered a series of upheavals as a result. Years later, Huang Pu became a criminal detective and was assigned to investigate a case resembling the Red-Clothed Killer's crimes. As the investigation progressed, they discovered that the victim, Leng Peipei, was connected to Li Guoxing, Yu Ming, and others, and that the case involved Wen Chunxing and her daughter, Wen Xiaojun. Further investigation revealed that Yu Ming was the Red-Clothed Killer. He had killed before because Wen Chunxing extorted money from Liu Yujia, and later murdered Leng Peipei because his daughter had failed to make the band. In the end, Huang Pu succeeded in capturing Yu Ming after a struggle.
