The Embroidery Workshop's Changing Fortunes

The story is set in ancient times. The embroidery workshop founded by Chen Rulian became famous for its exquisite skills. The Queen held an embroidery competition, and the embroidery studio took up the challenge with enthusiasm. The sisters worked day and night, but the work they had worked hard on was framed and embroidered with disrespectful words. In an instant, they fell from full of hope to the abyss, were thrown into prison, and sentenced to beheading. In a desperate situation, human nature's choices are heart-wrenching. Officials suggested that if someone confessed, some people could be saved. The sisters faced difficult choices between life, death and friendship. Some people want the innocent Zhang Shu to take the blame in order to survive, while others firmly oppose it and insist on justice and sisterhood. Zhang Shu recalled the sisters' kindness in taking her in, and finally stepped forward and decided to sacrifice herself for everyone's safety. This plot vividly portrays the complex emotions between the sisters, making people angry and moved at the same time. The subsequent plot is even more cruel to the extreme. Chen Rulian and Zhang Shu suffered inhuman torture. Their hands were nailed, their hair was cut, and their backs were burned. Every scene was so cruel that people couldn't bear to watch. But they supported each other in pain, and their resilience was touching. Chen Rulian was finally pardoned, but Zhang Shu was brutally tortured. The description of the execution scene was so detailed that it made people go numb, and the despair and grief almost overflowed the screen. In addition to the ups and downs of the plot, this book also has very vivid characters. As the eldest sister, Chen Rulian is calm and affectionate, and always protects her sisters; Zhang Shu is well-behaved and kind, and is willing to die for her sisters; Lin Yue and Shen Zhinian hate evil and resolutely resist injustice; Su Yao and Zhou Wanqing were shaken in the face of life and death, but were finally awakened by sisterly love. Each character is three-dimensional and real, as if they are living in that cruel ancient world. The author's writing style is delicate, and the ancient scenes in the book are vividly described, allowing readers to truly feel the darkness and dampness of the prison and the bloody horror of the execution ground. Moreover, through the story of the embroidery workshop, it shows the tragic fate of the people at the bottom of the ancient times under the oppression of power, which is thought-provoking. If you like to read sadistic stories and want to experience the good and evil of human nature and the deep love between sisters through tears, "The Story of Xiu Fang" is definitely the best choice!
