Fate: The Dice of Destiny

A FGO Anko novel. Aside from the pseudo-random elements you can spot at a glance, everything is basically decided by random numbers. I started writing on a whim, and some scene descriptions are AI-assisted. My writing is pretty bad, so please bear with me. “What belongs to me is mine alone. No one gets to lay a finger on it. Even if I break my teeth, I'll bite every covetous interloper to death.” Viviana Le Faye, current head of the De Logris family, a prestigious magus lineage. Once acknowledged by the Clock Tower as a “monster,” seven years ago she encountered a bizarre curse called the “Transparent Screen” during her succession ceremony. Like a parasite clinging to her bones, it latched onto her retinas, devouring most of her magical energy while constantly scrolling through unreadable gibberish and cold numerical values. To find a way to break the curse, she joined the Chaldea Security Organization for the Preservation of Human Order. But when a girl named Ritsuka Fujimaru entered her life, the screen, dormant for seven years, suddenly began to turn as if it were some ancient prophecy. It accurately foretold the visitor's arrival, while coldly counting down to Chaldea's destruction. Her magical energy depleted, the dead drawing near. In this desperate situation, to protect their last hope, Viviana used her own blood as a medium and forcibly opened a summoning circle atop the world's ley lines. This time, the one who answered her desperate call was no ordinary Heroic Spirit, but the British witch who stood between moonlight and flames, master of the arcane mysteries: “Are you my Master?” As an obsession spanning a thousand years converges with a cursed fate, a journey to correct both human history and the self begins in the burning city of Fuyuki.
