The National Team: DARLING in the FRANXX

(This is a story about 001 and 002)

“Hey, Darling, look at the sky.”

001 looked up at the sky.

002 gazed at 001's profile.

“Are the stars beautiful?”

001 turned to meet 002's gaze.

“Very beautiful. So beautiful.”

Their lips pressed tightly together. After a long while, they parted, a silver thread stretching between them.
