[Everyone in the Heavenly Court and Mount Ling is Evil + Demon Child + Havoc in Heaven + Battlefield of the Investiture of the Gods + Earth in the Age of Declining Dharma + Suppressing the Heavens] (This is no ordinary Journey to the West. It spans from the primordial era to fifteen hundred years after the pilgrimage, from the Heavenly Court to the Myriad Worlds, and from the Human Sovereign to the Ancestral Dragon and the great heroes of the world.)
Zhao Xiaokong transmigrated from Blue Star to the world of Journey to the West, inherited the Great Sage’s legacy, and learned that the Jade Emperor had ordered Tathagata Buddha to scheme against Sun Wukong and erase him.
He was also branded a sinner who had emerged from the Land of Calamity.
Ever since the Human Sovereign, anyone on Blue Star who attained the Dao and became an emperor had marched on the Heavenly Court and waged war against Heaven!
In a fit of rage, the Jade Emperor severed Blue Star’s spiritual roots, turning it into a world in the Age of Declining Dharma.
After arriving in the world of Journey to the West, Zhao Xiaokong called himself the Great Sage Who Blasts the Heavens and followed the same path as the Great Sage Equal to Heaven.
He stormed the Underworld, altered the Book of Life and Death, stole peaches and elixirs, and even climbed up the peach tree to take a bite out of it.
The Jade Emperor foresaw the destruction of the Three Realms and the collapse of the heavens. Only one person would stand above all the worlds, and that person would be surrounded by the aura of the Land of Calamity.
Zhao Xiaokong came from the Land of Calamity, so the Jade Emperor launched a ruthless campaign to erase him.
For thousands of years, from the Human Sovereign to the Ancestral Dragon and beyond, whenever anyone attained the Dao and became an emperor, their first move was to attack the Heavenly Court. That was why the Jade Emperor loathed everyone who came from there!
And our protagonist had given the Jade Emperor every reason to kill him. He simply had to die.
Tathagata: “Tsk, tsk, this kid’s stacked every buff imaginable. The Jade Emperor will make sure he dies in the Three Realms.”
