Heroine Li Siyi: Looks fifteen, is actually over two hundred, a gifted cultivator, and so poor she can barely scrape by.
Hero Si Qiran: Twenty years old, with above-average talent, and a wealthy prince with money to spare.
A single bowl of Heart-Forgetting Water didn’t make Li Siyi melancholy or break Si Qiran’s heart, but it left their master, the Heavenly Cauldron Immortal, worried sick.
He promised his two disciples that if they both survived the great battle, he would make sure they fell in love with each other again.
Poor Heavenly Cauldron Immortal: at his advanced age, he couldn’t bring himself to die, much less ascend, because he was so worried about his disciples’ future happiness.
He watched the two disciples reincarnate again and again in different eras, never once meeting. At last, he came up with a plan.
He sent the soul of Li Siyi, who had the power to return from the dead, to Si Qiran’s era.
This time, they finally met.
But what Heavenly Cauldron Immortal hadn’t realized was that only when two people in love both drank Heart-Forgetting Water was there a chance they might fall in love again after three lifetimes.
If only one person drank it while the other did not, it was Heart-Cutting Water. The one who drank it would never fall in love with the other again.
Unless… the other person personally took his or her life…
