The story takes place in and around an ancient town called Anling. With a long history and a unique location among intersecting mountains and rivers, Anling has given rise to many mysterious folk legends. As time passes, modern civilization gradually finds its way in, but the old supernatural tales never fade. Instead, under certain conditions, they resurface as terrifying and uncanny events, shattering the town's peace.
