This is an ensemble story. Every character grows over time. They’re smart, but not entirely cold-blooded. In this story, they’re just ordinary people.
One weekend, An Yue was watching a TV series in her dorm when she saw some breaking news. She immediately took her roommate Lin Feifei to the school supermarket... The campus soon descended into chaos.
Knock, knock, knock. A classmate is asking for help at the door. Should they let them in?
After a major incident involving a bus, only a dozen or so survivors remained in Building M4:
An Yue, the team’s core; the cheerful and lively Lin Feifei; Yan Li, the girl with a wire-wrapped baseball bat; Li Tu, whose fighting prowess was off the charts; the happy trio of Li Qian, Zhao Siqi, and Xue Qin; and the scheming Chen Si’an and Ma Yi. Together, they began their struggle to survive on campus.
What? As if a zombie crisis weren’t enough, now there are natural disasters too??? The food is almost gone. What are they going to do???
New characters to come: medical student Xu Zhiqing, the loud Jiang Chengyu, and Gu Xian, who is desperately searching for his girlfriend. Will they have any connection to An Yue’s little team?
The author's writing is pretty good, and it reminds me of this book when I'm bored, and makes me want to read the subsequent developments. Then there is my personal feeling, which is that I was too calm when I first started killing zombies. When I saw An Yue, I also thought that I had read a lot of doomsday articles. Maybe I was calmer than others when I first broke out, but I couldn't be as calm as killing zombies. I didn't change from being afraid. Also, when everyone encountered zombies, they would hold their heads against themselves to prevent them from biting them. It felt like zombies didn't know how to use their hands. The relationship between Li Cha and Lin Feifei is a bit awkward. I feel like I fell in love without knowing when. The plot is very clear. Which one is the bad guy and what bad things have been done. I personally feel that there should be a bit of suspense here when Ma Yi runs out, but the next chapter will write that she was rescued. Overall, there are no big surprises, and I will still continue to read it. [Salute]
The writing is quite good, and the psychological portrayal of the characters is okay, but the update speed is too slow. It would be better if there were two chapters a day. I don't know when I can finish writing one chapter a day.
