Luring the Snake

[Two male leads + post-apocalyptic disasters + reborn with supernatural powers + space + stockpiling + a touch of cosmic horror + devoted to each other to the end]

[Clingy, scheming snake with a dark side vs. extraordinary college guy]

It all began with a seemingly endless downpour that swallowed everything. Disasters struck one after another, and the apocalypse arrived.

Like any ordinary person, Shu Ran struggled to survive year after year in a fight that seemed to have no end.

At last, he made it to the First Base, said to preserve the seeds of humanity and rebuild its future, where he reunited with a former classmate he had once admired.

He thought it would be a fresh start. Instead, it was the beginning of a nightmare, until they hit rock bottom and took each other down.

To his surprise, he was reborn. When he opened his eyes, the world was at peace, and the rain that would bring about the apocalypse had yet to begin.

Best of all, the plant companion who had stayed by his side in his previous life arrived early, bringing an incredible bonus: a mysterious pocket dimension.

Shu Ran began frantically stockpiling supplies and renovating his safe house, determined to survive the coming apocalypse as best he could.

But…

Things seemed to be unfolding a little differently from his previous life.

Where did this tall, long-legged neighbor come from? He looks like he was designed to match Shu Ran’s every preference. Shu Ran had never seen him in his previous life!

Wait, what?

Could there be a huge secret hidden in his own “background” too?

Shu Ran was more and more dumbfounded. Eventually, he discovered that not only was his boyfriend not human, but he himself wasn’t exactly normal either…

“You’re not human? What a coincidence. I don’t think I’m entirely human either. We really were made for each other.”
