In a fantastical world where immortals and demons coexist and rival factions vie for power, Lu Tong and Shen Gongbao are prodigies from opposing sides. But when an ancient divine artifact appears and stirs the world, their fates become tightly intertwined.
Lu Tong is a celebrated rising star among the immortals. He cares for all living things, stands by justice, and is determined to protect peace in the world. Shen Gongbao is a ruthless talent who has risen through the ranks of the Demon Sect. Ambitious and willing to do whatever it takes, he longs to shatter the balance between immortals and demons and reshape the order of the Three Realms.
Sparks fly at their first clash, their beliefs and allegiances as incompatible as fire and water. Yet while pursuing the artifact, they are unexpectedly trapped in a mysterious place. As they depend on each other for survival, their feelings quietly begin to change. Shen Gongbao develops an intense, passionate desire for Lu Tong, and a love affair marked by force begins. Though Lu Tong struggles inwardly, spending day after day with Shen Gongbao gives him a deeper understanding of his complicated soul, and his own feelings quietly take root before he even realizes it.
But their path to love is destined to be strewn with thorns. The conflict between the immortal and demon clans, the covert interference of various factions, and the many crises sparked by the artifact continually put their relationship to the test. Can they overcome every obstacle, cross the divide between immortals and demons, and join hands to write a legend of their own? How will this love born of passion and enmity rewrite the future of the Three Realms?
