Redemption: It Began When My Childhood Friend Became My Little Sister

[Everyday Life + One Female Lead + Healing and Redemption + Coming of Age + Adoptive Siblings + Childhood Friends]

On a stormy night, Xiao Ran runs into Jiang Xiaorou, the little moon from the tail end of his childhood, on his way home.

For certain reasons, the girl becomes his younger sister.

From then on, the little girl who used to cling to him starts invading his life in more secretive ways.

Xiao Ran does all he can to give Jiang Xiaorou as much care as possible, never realizing she wants more than just an older brother's affection...

The kisses she steals when he's not looking, the times she sneaks into his bed at night: he thinks of them as a little sister's clingy affection.

It isn't until one stormy night, when Xiao Ran catches her crouched in the attic, quietly practicing a confession beside a scrapbook covered in his photos, that he realizes her love took root back in childhood.

“When you taught me math when I was twelve, I decided I wanted to follow you, Gege. Please, say yes to Xiaorou...”

Late one stormy night, rain battering the windows, Jiang Xiaorou grips the hem of his shirt, her tears soaking his chest.

“I know I'm being greedy... but other than you, Gege, I have nothing left.”
