Life in the Mountains After the Disaster: Farming from Scratch

This is a farming story.

It combines natural disasters, farming, hunting, fishing, cooking, remote mountains, healing, seclusion, everyday life, sweet romance, and a nontraditional take on the apocalypse.

The story focuses on the little comforts of daily life: growing vegetables, raising chickens, fishing, and hunting. There is no golden finger. Everything is earned through hard work, offering a realistic portrayal of rural life.

Disaster strikes, plunging the world into chaos.

Lin Yuan, a young man who has just lost his job, returns to his remote hometown, full of uncertainty.

He thinks he's only taking shelter for a little while, never imagining that the disaster will completely change his fate.

Transportation is cut off, communications fail, and Lin Yuan is trapped deep in the mountains, completely cut off from the outside world.

Just as he thinks he'll have to face everything alone, a familiar figure appears: Su Qing, his former coworker, who has also ended up in these mountains by chance.

While others stockpile supplies and rely on golden fingers to survive the disasters, Lin Yuan and Su Qing dig the soil and grow food.

Facing scarce resources, extreme weather, and threats from wild animals, the two decide to start from scratch: clearing wasteland, growing crops, raising poultry, and providing for themselves.

At first, they stumble through everything. Gradually, they master the skills of farming. As they go from strangers to friends, their shared labor brings them closer, and they begin to depend on and trust each other.

In these mountains, isolated from the world, they find not only hope for survival but also an unexpected love.

This is a healing story about growth, showing how, in the apocalypse, the two create a pastoral life of their own with their own hands and heal each other's wounds with warmth.
