The Palico's Hundred-Day Cat God Plan

Xinxin, the Black Dragon hunting fanatic everyone on the forums knew, had just completed the 999-kill achievement. But on the thousandth hunt, they transmigrated into a Palico, and one bound to a System at that!

“Congratulations on unlocking the [Pawstrike War God] System! We detected that you once used a Long Sword to break Nergigante's horns in 1 minute and 32 seconds. This has now been converted into the [Felyne Whirlwind Slash] skill.”

“Warning! Current human-form recovery: 0%. Honey-stealing skill automatically upgraded to MAX!”

As Xinxin stared at the launch warning counting down from 100 days, their dandelion-fluff tail puffed up while they sank into thought:

How could they teach the NPC hunters some killer combos at the Ancient Tree Campsite?

How could they land a perfect Foresight Slash with their fluffy paw pads?

Most importantly, when the game officially launched and hordes of newbies flooded in, how could they stop everyone on the server from petting their cat ears bald?

[System Notification]

· Your Deviljho mount has learned to act cute and roll around.

· A Rathian chased you across three maps because your tail caught fire.

· A mysterious merchant is offering a high price for the cat fur you've shed.

This is the legend written with cat paws by the mightiest Celestial Venerable. As the game becomes a real world, Xinxin, who has transmigrated with the outrageous tricks of a modern player, is about to turn the entire Monster Hunter Kingdom upside down with a single Felyne Soaring Slash!
