The Arena and the Road Home

(Leaving with a child + rekindled love + intense push and pull + tender moments + returning to competition...)

Ten years ago, mixed doubles legends Sun Shasha and Wang Qinqin suddenly went their separate ways after winning the championship at the height of their careers, leaving behind only a gold medal and an unsolved mystery.

Ten years later, she returns with a secret. Reunited beside the familiar table, love and regret, suspicion and scheming quietly intertwine. To expose the scandal from years ago, and for the bond they can never let go of, they put their uniforms back on and make a comeback at the “ripe old age” of thirty. From undercurrents within the national team to the fierce battles of international competition, from the shadows of the past to today's glory, they use their paddles to measure the distance to the truth and their passion to rewrite the course of their fate.

This is more than a champion's return to table tennis. It is a legend spanning time, about devotion, trust, and redemption.
