The Young Disciple Goes Down the Mountain

When Luo Chen was three, a car accident claimed the lives of his parents. He was adopted by a master who cultivated immortality and five godmothers. His master taught him medicine, the Book of Changes and its divination arts, and the ways of immortal cultivation. When Luo Chen was eight, his godmothers descended the mountain, leaving him and his master to depend on each other.

At twenty, Luo Chen's master told him there was nothing left to teach him, so Luo Chen went down the mountain in search of his godmothers. To his surprise, each had an extraordinary identity: Ouyang Yanyan, a military big shot; Li Jingxuan, the richest woman in the world; Zhang Yuelan, a top assassin; his fourth godmother, a top actress; and his fifth, a master physician. What's more, every one of his godmothers wanted him to marry her daughter.

New to city life, Luo Chen uses his immortal arts and unique knowledge to navigate the competing powers around him. Can he find his place in this bustling, complicated metropolis? And how will he handle the tangled feelings he shares with his five younger god-sisters? A tale blending immortal cultivation, romance, and urban legends begins here.
