The Emotion-Based Power System

Down-and-out online novelist Qin Yu is struck by the resentment of readers over his unfinished novel and is on the brink of death when he signs a contract with the mysterious Observer Council, becoming a Flow Weaver who can draw on emotions and weave stories. To save himself and make amends for the regrets of the characters he created, he takes Lin Feng, a devoted reader suffering from a terminal illness, and follows the information broker Raven through one collapsing world of Narrative Fragments after another.

From a hospital haunted by vengeful spirits to a cafe where laws collide; from a chaotic wasteland where collectors hunt them to a silent graveyard that devours existence... With the power of the Seven-Emotion Prism, Qin Yu searches for hope in the depths of despair and rewrites fate through narrative weaving. He purifies the vengeful spirit Su Wanqing, unlocking the Stars' Return alternate route. Guided by the Moonlight Spirit Deer, he eventually reaches the cultivation world on the side of order, the Qingxuan Realm.

Yet beneath Qingxuan's seemingly peaceful surface, undercurrents are stirring. A conflict over a ritual unexpectedly exposes a conspiracy involving the primary ingredient for Foundation Establishment Pills. Qin Yu is forced into the fray, while a chance arises for Lin Feng's special constitution to awaken. Holding a Good Karma Token from the Emerald Forest, Qin Yu faces unknown enemies and opportunities. His path as a Flow Hunter officially begins amid the shifting tides of Qingxuan.
