Hard to Coax

Plot synopsis Wen Yifan (played by Zhang Ruonan) returned to his hometown to work and accidentally met his high school classmate Sang Yan (played by Bai Jingting). Reunited after a long absence, the two pretended not to know each other, but they met by chance again and again. Wen Yifan was harassed by the man next door and reluctantly decided to move. Sang Yan's apartment was damaged by a fire at a neighbor's house and needed to be renovated. By some mistake, the two actually rented together. The two people who originally avoided each other broke the barrier and couldn't help but get closer to each other. Sang Yan's meticulous care made Wen Yifan gradually open up his heart and decided to muster up the courage to pursue Sang Yan. Sang Yan also crossed the city to give her the most sincere confession, and the two officially confirmed their relationship. Later, Wen Yifan confessed to Sang Yan why he had violated the agreement and not admitted to the same university as him. Sang Yan was heartbroken when she learned the truth, vowed not to let Wen Yifan be harmed again, and protected her with practical actions. Eventually, the two moved into a new home designed by Sang Yan himself and started a happy life together.
