A colonial civilization discovers Earth, a planet where life has only just emerged. At the right moment, it sends "droplets" to Earth to stimulate biological evolution, accelerating life on the planet with the intention of turning Earth into a breeding ground.
Humanity's emergence, however, was not part of their plan. The poorly formulated catalyst was completely incompatible with the human body, and under the droplets' influence, creatures known as zombies came into being.
With no System, no help from aliens, and not even bodies capable of completing their evolution, humanity has no choice but to face the outside world with nothing but their own flesh and blood.
