The Great Emperor Mu Feng
On a vast, boundless fantasy continent where the strong rule, the ordinary-born youth Mu Feng stumbles upon a mysterious box at an auction. This chance encounter sets him on a grand adventure.
The mysterious box attracts the attention of a man in black robes. Powerful and intimidating, he demands that Mu Feng hand it over. Mu Feng refuses to back down and fights back. During the battle, he discovers that the box is connected to an ancient book and mysterious runes. Just as danger closes in, the guardian of Lingyun City comes to his rescue. Later, at the guardian's residence, Mu Feng learns that the box contains a divine artifact capable of overturning the world: the Chaos Heavenly Orb. To protect the artifact and uncover its secrets, he stays at the residence to devote himself to cultivation.
As Mu Feng studies the Chaos Heavenly Orb, his strength improves dramatically, and he also gains the ability to control the elements of the five phases. However, the man in black robes returns with dark forces at his side, and a great battle erupts in Lingyun City. With the power of the Chaos Heavenly Orb, Mu Feng fights back tenaciously and, with the guardians' support, successfully drives off the enemy. But he knows the dark forces will not give up, so he resolutely sets out to roam the world.
Along the way, Mu Feng meets the bold and forthright Liu Yan, the quick-witted and clever Xiao Yu, the enigmatic Ye Ying, the skilled physician Su Yao, the mechanism expert Zheng Chen, and Lin Yue, whose powers of perception are extraordinary. Together, they explore a mysterious cave dwelling in Cangyan Mountain and battle the Blood Fiend; venture into an abandoned ancient tomb in Qingfeng Town and slay the Dark Night Ghost King; and cross the Sunset Desert, defeat the Sand Thief King, and find a divine artifact capable of countering the dark forces. Their group grows stronger with each adventure.
