Oh No! My Kid's Dad Is at the Door

[Imaginative novelist vs. celibate CEO + happy ending]

Jiang Nuan had known since high school that one day her family would marry her off to someone in their social circle as part of an arranged marriage. So she started hiding away money, ready to run at a moment’s notice. But in college, she watched her older sister Jiang Nian get caught and dragged back home after trying to run away. She realized that plan wouldn’t work, so she decided to change tactics after graduation. Taking her best friend and college roommate’s advice, she planned to get pregnant before marriage. The plan worked, and pregnant Jiang Nuan successfully went abroad to study.

Five years later, she returned home with her child. Pointing to a handsome man at the airport, she told her son, “Xiao Chen, that’s your dad.”

But her son pointed at the handsome man on an advertising screen inside the airport and said, “Mom, that’s my dad.”
