Still, I used Mew’s Transform ability to blend into human society once more, and naturally became a Trainer.

Mew has huge advantages as a Trainer. For example, I can communicate my thoughts directly to my Pokemon in battle. And since I can use every move with ease, I can teach my Pokemon powerful moves, too.

So, after leaving White Forest, my beginner’s village, I set out on a legendary path as a Trainer unlike any other.

At the Vertress Conference, with Latias floating in front of me, I fell into deep thought and looked at the weak Pokemon behind me: the innocent Simisear, the elderly Smeargle, the one-armed Watchog, the mute Kricketune, the blind Ninjask…
