Xiao Chen was a little confused. He’d only been watching a video about using traditional Chinese medicine to improve his health, then tried the exercises himself. When he woke up, he’d gone back to high school. The strangest part was that two options had appeared before him:
1. You can get ten billion dollars.
2. Your dog, Bruce, will undergo a super evolution, and you’ll go on an adventure together.
“Hey, Bruce, if I hadn’t slipped up when I made my choice back then, where do you think I’d be now?”
The boy, riding a tall white horse with a blade of foxtail grass in his mouth, asked listlessly.
The dog-headed man in a cape, riding a black horse beside him, answered without looking back. “At least you wouldn’t be sleeping in a haystack.”
“What else?”
“That’s it. Nobody would really be stupid enough to pick option one.”
This is a fantastical adventure starring a boy and Bruce.
