Synopsis of The Immortal Path Begins Amid the White Mountains and Black Waters
In a mysterious region surrounded by the White Mountains and Black Waters lies the quiet village of Taiping. Young Zhang Yichen lost his parents early and lives with his grandmother. Kind and brave by nature, he is fascinated by legends of the Five Great Immortals of the Northeast.
One day, a child in the village falls gravely ill, and the local doctor is helpless. Hearing that a fox immortal might be able to save the child, Zhang Yichen resolutely ventures into the mountains in search of one. After many twists and turns, he finally encounters the fox immortal, who demands that he drive away an evil mountain demon coveting a thousand-year-old ginseng root. Facing the powerful demon, Zhang Yichen fights desperately, relying on his courage, conviction, and the pills given to him by the fox immortal. He succeeds in protecting the ginseng.
True to its word, the fox immortal saves the sick child. Afterward, Zhang Yichen becomes famous and forms an unbreakable bond with the mysterious world of immortals.
