My Granddaughter Was Bullied, So I Brought Five First-Class Medals to Demand Justice

“Take these medals back! Give me my family back!”

With nowhere to turn for justice, I knelt on the ground and laid a stack of military medals at the entrance to the military district.

“My father gave his life for his country in the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea. My eldest son died defending the border at Laoshan. My second son was killed in action while transporting classified national secrets. My third son and daughter-in-law were both anti-drug police officers. They went undercover together and both died in the line of duty. Their badge numbers were retired.”

“Now a martyr’s descendant has been bullied and is in critical condition. I want to know why no one is doing anything!”

My granddaughter was clever and sweet from an early age. At last, she got into the middle school everyone dreamed of attending, only to be bullied by seven monsters and so badly injured that she ended up in the ICU.

I went to the school for an explanation. They said it was just kids roughhousing and there was nothing they could do. I went to the police, but they said the children came from powerful families and there was nothing they could do either.

The bullies even laughed and said, “Old man, our families have money. We can make this go away with a little cash. Even if your granddaughter dies, no one will care. Go ahead and report us!”

My three sons gave their lives for their country. They were heroes, martyrs, and a source of pride for the nation.

But now a martyr’s daughter is being bullied, and no one will help her.

Does having no parents mean she deserves to be bullied?
