The Ember-Slaying God Record

They want me to slay a god,

but they dare not say that I am the ashes of a godslayer.

When every memory has burned into a sigh in the flames,

the last one to be killed

will it be me, willing to become ashes,

or Him, dreaming of being kindled anew?
