An infinite-stream gauntlet run.
As you can tell, I haven't thought of a title yet.
Ding Wujie, Yan Chengyun, Qian Ting, Cen Lin, and Yu Xiao's everyday adventures through the gauntlets. The main story of the previous book, Yes, I Cheated, is complete. This one's all gauntlets, with no overarching plot, just for fun.
1. A peaceful little town on the surface, with some secret lurking beneath. What happened to the taciturn boss? Let's get close to science, er, I mean, follow the protagonist as they dig deeper and peel back the boss's tough exterior.
Ding Wujie said to Qian Ting, exasperated, "I told you to get close to the boss, not get inside him. Try calling him 'wife' one more time!"
Qian Ting: "And what if I do? Don't get so worked up, bro."
Ding Wujie rubbed his forehead, not wanting to deal with his troublesome little sister. "I'm worried he'll hit you."
Cen Lin: "She'd deserve it."
2. Rule-based horror is enough to make countless players tremble in fear, but...
Qian Ting gritted her teeth. "I'm going to chop this level's boss into pieces and fry him in hot oil!"
Cen Lin: "Okay."
So all the players received a platter of deep-fried giant bugs.
Qian Ting fumed. "You're obviously abusing your power for personal revenge!"
Taking out your anger under the pretext of avenging the boss, while leaving the boss to take the blame? Two birds with one stone. Nice.
3. The dungeon holds countless vicious criminals, and every cell is a level. During one dungeon run:
Ding Wujie: "The killer was me all along?"
Qian Ting: "My condolences."
Yu Xiao: "My sympathies."
Cen Lin: "We recommend turning yourself in, dear."
Ding Wujie: "Get lost."
