Heaven and Earth in the Mirror: Qingyu’s Quest for Truth

She was once a being who stood above heaven and earth, with all paths bowing to her and life and death resting on a single thought. But when the shackles of fate descended, she realized she was nothing more than a pawn whose every move had been arranged.

Unwilling to submit or be controlled, she chose to forget: casting aside the past, breaking free of her bonds, and starting from the very beginning to walk a path of her own.

When she opened her eyes again, her memories were gone and her soul was a blank slate. She seemed no more than an ordinary person from the twenty-first century, who had wandered into the cultivation world and entered this storm as someone bound by fate.

She thought she was just a mortal who had accidentally stumbled into an immortal sect. She cultivated, endured tribulations, made friends, and traveled the world, believing every choice was her own.

But when old acquaintances reappeared and the causes and consequences buried deep in the past began to surface, she realized with a start that she had never truly escaped her past. The so-called fate might have been a foreshadowing she herself had planted.

She would save this world, and in doing so, save her old friends. She would shatter the laws that had once bound her and once again decide her own path by her own will.

In this life, she would be no pawn, bow to no one, and ask nothing of fate. She would follow only her heart!

(New writer here. I’d love to hear your suggestions. Feel free to share your thoughts and ideas for the characters so we can create the novel together and keep each other on track. I hope you’ll support my first novel!)
