[Ancient Setting + Farming + Infrastructure + Alternate History + Conquest + Exploration]
Xiao Yi transmigrated to the Great Yu Dynasty, an era that didn't exist in the history of his previous life.
He had given his life to defend his homeland in his previous life. This time, he decided to live more freely: no government service, no army, just a mountain to call his own and a carefree life.
“Bro, what's pepper?”
“Wait here. I'll go get you some. You can try it and find out.”
A month later, a certain kingdom in the Western Regions refused to trade pepper seedlings. Then an unknown armed force stormed the palace on horseback, leaving behind a message: Taihang Rebels.
“Bro, what are those red things called?”
“Chilies. Want to try one?”
A little over a month later, a certain small kingdom in the Western Regions found a message in its royal court: The Taihang Rebels were here!
And so on, far too many examples to count.
Taihang is the backbone of Great Yu, and I am the backbone of Great Yu!
It's okay so far and worth watching. If the follow-up does not collapse, does not imitate the Tang Dynasty, does not lean in that direction, and has its own historical world, then it will be an excellent work of historical novels. If the follow-up is a fast food novel, then it will be a short-term substitute for many readers when they cannot find books to read.
