By the banks of the Qinglan River, in a drafty fishing shack, Lin Yan arrives in another world as an orphan, carrying the Divination for Good Fortune and Avoiding Disaster he learned in a game. He becomes a fish farmer and rogue cultivator stuck at the third level of Qi Refining, with sluggish progress.
With no earth-shattering lucky breaks or backing from a sect, he makes a living from each spirit fish he raises and the small pond he tends, using his divinations to tell danger from opportunity. He avoids the demon beasts of the Rocky Shoals, finds schools of fish in Reed Bay, improves his pond with spring water, and hones his cultivation by the light of fishing lamps.
He seeks no meteoric rise, only steady progress. In this perilous world of cultivation, where danger and opportunity go hand in hand, Lin Yan makes fishing his trade and divination his shield. From the ripples of the Qinglan River, he carves out a steady path to immortality as a fish-farming rogue cultivator.
I know you're having trouble, so there's no need to mention it at the end of every chapter.
Just watch it when you're bored. The subject matter is good, but it's just messy.
