Mu Yunzhao, a senior from Shanghai on an internship, is sent to Hong Kong for a meeting. She meets Ouyang Han on the plane, then discovers after arriving in Hong Kong that he is her boss, and bears a striking resemblance to his younger sister. Thus begins their story: a sweet romance between a young woman and an older man, as well as a long-planned, heartbreaking love. Mu Yunzhao still falls for Ouyang Han, and they have an adorable daughter, Niannian. But just when things finally start to get better between them, she loses her memory.
“Wanqing?” Ouyang Han's voice was rough as sandpaper. The diamond tattoo near his collarbone was covered by medical tape, yet still stubbornly caught the light with a cold gleam.
Mu Yunzhao blinked in confusion. The name made her temples throb. Her memories were like puzzle pieces scattered by the waves. She remembered only that she was the Mu family's only daughter and had been preparing for her thesis defense in Shanghai just yesterday. “Sir, have you mistaken me for someone else?” She drew her hand back, tugging at the support band around her ribs and gasping in pain.
The hospital room fell into sudden silence. The redwood box in Mu Qing's hands hit the floor with a thud, and two death certificates slipped out of its hidden compartment, side by side. Ouyang Han's watch gave a shrill alarm. Only then did he realize that he had put the heart-rate monitor on his wife's wrist.
“Dad, what are you doing here? What happened to me?” Mu Yunzhao reached for Mu Qing's hand.
“Looks like this child remembers everything about the Mu family, but has forgotten all about the Ouyang family.” Mu Yunzhao reached for Mu Qing's hand.
“Mommy!” Niannian, dressed in a Snow White costume, rushed to the bedside, a strawberry ice cream stain still on her collar.
And so begins the pursuit of love!
