Arknights: The Doctor and Rosmontis

When forgetting becomes instinct, only love remains an eternal anchor.

Rosmontis: a girl granted tremendous power through experimentation, yet burdened by a faulty memory. After countless nights torn apart by nightmares, she finally turns her deep-buried feelings into a desperate kiss. The spell she uses to bind her body breaks the last chain between their hearts.

Doctor XC, the embodiment of reason at Rhodes Island, sees his own long-submerged feelings in the girl's trembling confession. Her tears, her dependence, the gray tail winding around his wrist: every touch tears at the calm he struggles to maintain. The moment his vow slips out, he is no longer a commander who has everything planned. He is simply a man willing to lose himself in her warmth.

This is a struggle between the forbidden and restraint, a union of memory and promises. If fate is destined to rob her of her past, he will leave the marks of love with a million embraces, until their souls beat in sync, until the end of time.
