Shen Tingzhu is a role-player in the background-character department of the quick transmigration bureau.
Lured by triple pay, Shen Tingzhu takes on the roles of various doomed background characters in different small worlds. They awakened to their own consciousness and tried to escape, having spent their lives providing resources for the male lead without ever earning his attention.
He enters each story with a built-in cannon-fodder, tool-person role.
But the plot doesn’t go as it should.
When Shen Tingzhu faces the death ordained by the plot, the cold-hearted male lead cries and holds him, saying it was all his fault.
He even says he wants to die with him.
At first, the male lead says, “Stop clinging to me. You’re annoying.”
But in the end, he humbly takes Shen Tingzhu’s hand. “This time, let me be the one who clings to you.”
At first, the wolf in sheep’s clothing says, “I want to see how filthy his heart is.”
Later, while Shen Tingzhu is drinking, he murmurs coaxingly, “Stop loving him. Love me instead.”
Shen Tingzhu: “Sorry, my shift is over.”
Only later does Shen Tingzhu learn that they are all incarnations of one coward who has been chasing him through one world after another.
An unconventional story about everyone falling for the protagonist, with love at first sight.
In the modern world, he was a lovesick doormat who helped the male lead rise to the top, only to die of cancer.
In an ABO world, he was a beta used as a marriage-alliance shield, and eventually died by suicide after falling into depression.
