Heaven and Earth Shall Be Destroyed

Midsummer, 1988. Wuyuan City, Qianzhou Province. A two-hundred-square-meter wooden house burns to the ground. Two people die in the blaze, and three are injured.

Chen Yuan, who has just turned twenty and recently graduated from the Municipal Police University, is sent to handle the case at a critical moment.

Spanning thirty years, this novel bears witness to changes in the legal system and criminal investigation technology. It features many characters with unusual human natures and differs from the many other novels on Tomato. It is not a wish-fulfillment story, nor is it mindless. Best read slowly.
