No Sudden Brain-Dead Plot Twists, and No Characters Who Can't Communicate
These days it seems like any book can get a high rating. I have no idea how those scores are earned. The warnings about what to avoid aren't mentioned in the blurb at all. Halfway through, you hit a complete scam, and then the characters who show up later just make things worse and fan the flames. What are they even there for?
