In the secret realm of the Frozen Abyss, Ne Zha uncovers a Heavenly Court conspiracy and accidentally frees Ao Run, the Dragon Princess of the West Sea, who has been imprisoned in ice for a hundred years. The entangled energy of the Primal Chaos Bead makes their spiritual powers resonate, but as they spend each day together, it gives rise to forbidden feelings. When Taibai Jinxing threatens Ao Run with the survival of the Four Seas to force her into a political marriage, Ne Zha boldly smashes through the dome of the Jade Pool, only to discover a soul-devouring formation beneath the wedding banquet. Wrapped in a frosted crimson wedding gown, she refines her Dragon Pearl into the young man's spiritual core: “I want you to live long enough to see the heavenly order overturned.” As the Samadhi True Fire consumes the nine layers of gauze curtains, neon lights from a modern city appear in the rift of Guixu. It turns out this love that defies fate was already recorded in an archaeological fragment from a thousand years in the future.
