Dushang Qishen: The Yellow Springs Inn

A Dushanshen fanfic. A spin-off set in Yuzhou's Xinyan universe, imagining what kind of story Huangquan Inn, written by the great Zou Chuan, might be.

[Lonely Ghost, Without Name or Identity] Yun Weishan doesn't know how many years she's spent at Huangquan Inn. Every day, lonely ghosts arrive, wandering in search of their memories...

One day, an unexpected guest arrived at Huangquan Inn. "I've come to find an old friend." Shen Du gazed at her for a long time before slowly asking, "What is your name, miss?"

"I have no name or identity." Yun Weishan shook her head. "I've even forgotten it myself."

Who... am I?

[A Dream of a Fleeting Life] At the end of the dream, Yun Weishan remembered only the words: "The rosy clouds become flowing light, and the clouds become a robe. Perhaps a wondrous figure has entered my dream."

I... am Yun Weishan.

[Entanglements from a Past Life] Shen Du, Grand Commandant of the Imperial Guard, snatched away a bride in the street. Yun Weishan, a princess of an enemy state who was supposed to marry the Crown Prince, was forced to marry Shen Du instead.

"Has Wufeng run out of people? Why send a mere Chi?" Shen Du asked coldly.

[We Shall Never Meet Again] "Shen Du, you and I shall never meet again, in life or death."

"Miss, if that's the case, why are you still wandering here?"

"I... am waiting for someone."

Yun Weishan, I've come to find you after all.
