This book is also known as Black Tech: Tang Sanzang, Great Tang: Your Majesty, Our Journey Is to the Sea of Stars, I Use Black Tech to Help Li Shimin Soar, and You Asked Him to Save All Living Beings, So He Made Great Tang's Technology Ascend?

The early chapters focus on alternate-history infrastructure building and quietly developing. The middle chapters pit technology against gods, Buddhas, demons, and monsters. The later chapters cover wars across the myriad heavens. The pace is a little slow at the start, so readers who mind that may want to skip it.
