On Douluo Dalu, the rise and fall of Spirit Hall tell an epic tale of power, conviction, and redemption. Lin Ye, a boy from an ordinary village, embarks on a journey dictated by fate after awakening the top-tier Martial Soul, the "Holy Sword of Light." With the conviction that he must protect the continent, he joins Spirit Hall, only to gradually discover amid the vortex of power that Spirit Hall's ambitions have long since strayed from their original purpose.
As Evil Soul Masters run rampant and Bibi Dong's schemes come to light, Lin Ye faces a struggle like no other. His former close friend, Tang San, becomes his enemy over their opposing beliefs. Meanwhile, Qian Renxue, the young mistress of Spirit Hall, becomes his comrade in arms when he is at his most lost. In the clash between light and darkness, Lin Ye gradually comes to understand his mission: he must not only oppose the Evil Soul Masters' schemes, but also save Spirit Hall from the corruption of ambition.
