"Fatal Data" is set in the future virtual idol industry and tells the story of mechanical prosthetic engineer Nie Sa and holographic concert planner Lan Xun from hostility to symbiosis. The two met because of a data accident: Nie Sa sneaked into Lan Xun's performance backstage to trace the core code of "Deep Blue Memory", but accidentally shared nerve impulses in the data torrent. As capital games, hacker pursuits, and cross-sea escapes unfold, they go from mutual suspicion to joining hands to fight against the Donghai Group's dark web conspiracy, and even develop taboo feelings in their maglev motorcycle escapes and neural connections. When the two were forced to participate in a virtual idol survival battle variety show, Nie Sa's arrogance and Lan Xun's forbearance collided, and sparks arose, and a "borrowed light and shadow kiss" in a New Year's Eve holographic fireworks completely exposed their underground love. The work combines sci-fi action, strong-power games and delicate emotions to explore the perseverance and freedom of human nature in the data age.
